In Belgium a meeting of teachers from partner schools took place. Each school presented its project activities. The team of teachers worked on the final report. The project showcase was updated.

The second edition of geography contest was organized by Andrzej Adamus. The title of the contest: “The Mediterranean countries – the people, tourism, gastronomy”. Ten participants answered the questions about the project. Everybody received tourist information brochures and “leashes” from the Marshal’s office in Cracow, and the winners of the contest- beautiful albums.

Ms. Agnieszka Pilarczyk and Aneta Kamyk with ms. Katarzyna Zając staged a competition „Use herbs and spices in daily life”. Each second class took part in it in March. Groups, which represented classes, answered questions of application herbs in medicine, cosmetics and cuisine. One competition was written poem about herbs. A lot of emotions made a hairdresser’s competition – make a hair-do with herbs. Victorious groups got a diploma and prizes.
On 12th March, participants of Comenius Project with ms. Anna Bibrzycka organised in school a „Comenius Day”. During that day they presented for students and teachers of our school an effect of two years work. Students spoke about goals which they made in their groups as like took photos to create annals or cooked with herbs and spices. Two cookers made Romanian traditional cake with cherries.
Their own impressions from visit in Cyprus, Romania and Turkey, participants of Comenius, showed by photos and video made when they was on trips. A group from I TH class was in the charge of ms. Beata Warzecha-Zając made a popular Greek dance – the zorba. Everyone could taste Romanian, Cypriot and Turkish sweets made by students who were in the charge of ms. Klementyna Habczyk, Małgorzata Matyja, Elżbieta Potkowiak and Barbara Zając.
During this event we could see an exhibition “Cooking with Prymat” (Prymat company is a sponsor of project). You can watch it in SCI.
On March, students on practical lessons cooked dishes from calendar. Class II k with ms. Łucja Kubarska – chicken with potatoes and parsley, class IV TEG with ms. Klementyna Habczyk – chicken with potatoes and parsley, class II k with ms. Barbara Zając – Turkish cookies. Teachers: Klementyna Habczyk, Małgorzata Matyja, Barbara Zając with group of students made another dishes from calendar: sweet note with cherries and cinnamon – Romania, mayweed salad of fruits – France, Amasra salad – Turkey, shish kebab – Turkey. A photo of dishes were located on website.
Printed a Culinary Term Dictionary, compiled by students and ms . Małgorzata Klekot.
Class I TH with ms. Małgorzata Rybak calculated a nutritional value of dishes from calendar. They worked out chart which was located on website.

Students from class IV TKH with ms. Barbara Zając made a French dish – ragout of chicken with RUKWIA, and class IV TEG with ms. Klementyna Habczyk – Dactila Cookiem from Cyprus. Students also took photos of ingredients and phases of make out dish.
The website was updating non-stop.
In February were still some works connected with the title page of Culinary Term Dictionary and preparation to print.

Calendar with recipes of all partners got every students and teachers who participate in Project. City Office, Oświęcim Town Office, Governor of Eduction, Sport and Social Casus, Auschwitz Birkenau Museum, Oświęcim Castle Muzeum, Oświęcim Culture Center, Amateur Film Club, Agenda Urzędu Marszałkowskiego w Oświęcimiu, Hajduki Band – there are offices and institutions, which we gave our calendar. We sent it to our sponsor – Prymat Company, and to Marshall Office in Krakowie, mankament of Pieniny national park, agri-tourist farm in Skidziń, villa Jasna in Czorsztyn.
We put copy of calendar and recipes from first quarter in to display cabinet.
We sum up and rated work of our group in first term.
Class II k with ms. Barbara Zając and ms. Elżbieta Potkowiak cooked a dish from Romania – sweet cheese and beef cake and soup with tarragon .Many photos have been taken of ingredients and phase of make a dish

We put on website and we gave to print our calendar. Printed calendars will receive Comenius project participants – students, teachers, management. With the thanks for assistance, we will give calendar our sponsors – institutions and all people, who helped us in realization of the project.

We worked up and put on common blog and our website recital of “week with Comenius” (visit of our partners in October). We put there photos too.
We effected an exhibition of photos with descriptions and we showed it to parents, when they come to school on meetings with teachers on 24th November
The last recipes from calendar were translated. We have been still working on our calendar, especially on its first page.
In recipes competition to calendar, our proposal took second location, what means, that in January and August page we will have our, polish recipes.

Teachers and students from Comenius programme took up to detailed planed visit of our guests from Cyprus and Romania in October and together classes. We started preparations to this week.
Students with mr. Andrzej Adamus, ms. Anna Bibrzycka and ms. Marzena Sawicka worked up a route of trip in Oświęcim. They translated recital of monuments and made up themselves to guide our guest around our town
Barbara Zając and ms. Klementyna Habczyk with students worked up a questions to competition of knowledge of the herbs and spices, their name in different languages.
Małgorzata Sawicka and. Małgorzata Klekot with their students translated a recitals of herbs and competition dishes from Belgium, turkey and France. They made up quiz about knowledge about Poland by partners and quiz about places in Poland, sentences in different languages, parts of songs.

MA. Andrzej Adamus organised geographic competition “Mediterranean Countries – population, tourist, cuisine”. In competition took part 19 students from various first classes. Klaudia Bałys won this competition, second was Joanna Żurek, third was Magdalena Głąb. Subject area include geography, population, history, cuisine, tourism of Mediterranean. In first week of May, three groups of Comenius participants drove away to Turkey, Romania and Cyprus. Teenagers in groups of six with their teachers hosted in school: ANKARA ANATOLU LISEI in Ankara, SCOALA CU CLASELE I-VIII in Racovita near than Sibiu and in GYMNASIO EGOMIS in Nikozia. Detailed description of the visit is on our website enclonsure "Student's exchange".
After comeback, teachers and students filled up questionnaire about visit in three countries. They compiled reports from visits, depicted their impression. Students created an exhibition of photos in our school. Students compiled a PowerPoint presentation about the stay in Romania, Turkey and Cyprus.

Students searched and compiled information abort Cyprus, Turkey and Romania: history, culture, rite and religion, cuisine, practical counsels, curiosities. A promotion group made an exhibition about Cyprus, Romania and Turkey.
Calculation nutritive value of crème – bird milk, translation of a recipe on cutlet and bird milk and another description of spice on English language – these tasks realized a group of student with MA Barbara Zając.
The group in MA Estera Rzenno-Katerla care has finished a work connected with presentation about Poland (translation, technical compile, cover). Each participant of a trip has got a CD with this presentation. It will be a present for students who will entertain us. What is more everyone compiled and translated recipe on polish dish for example: żurek (traditional Polish soup made from fermented rye) beetroot soup with ravioli ( uszka),bigos ( Polish dish made of mushrooms, sausage and sauerkraut, ravioli with meat, mushrooms, mushroom soup, pancake with fruits. Recipes, verified by teachers of English language, enriched with colour photos were printed and laminated– also as a gift for our partners.
Our recipes for competition (minced meat cutlet and bird milk) translated on English language, we have placed on common blog of all of partners.
On website of Project, we placed translated on Polish language recipes of our partners from the blog (from Turkey and Cyprus). We placed a table with nutritive value of minced meat cutlet and crème - bird milk.
On specialist subject, class III TEG with MA Klementyna Habczyk calculated an energetic and nutritive value of dishes from project.
Class; IV TGc and II k with MA Barbara Zając, II k with MA Łucja Kubarska, made Polish and French dishe from project.
During the English lesson students from classes: II TOH, II TOT with MA Małgorzata Klekot, presented curiosities about spices and herbs and its medicated features. On the end of project – "Spices and herbs in everyday life" organized an exhibition – students made all posters.
From "Prymat" Company we have received a set of spices for the needs of project. A few spices: lovage, dill, marjoram and parsley we’ll present and will give our partners from Cyprus, Romania and Turkey.
We organized a meeting with these parents whose children are going on the exchange trip.

The presentation in PowerPoint titled „Spices" was compiled and put on project website.
The recipe for ‘Rissole’ as a main course and Chocolate Covered Marshmallows as a dessert and its realisation for competition were prepared.
The Comenius project was presented during lecturers titled "Your Job- Your future" for student of gramma school. We have been also promoting dishes from our project. Students made fruitcake with delikates , ginger cookies and fruit salad inside pineapple and ‘baskets’ made from oranges and lemon. Our dishes were very popular among guests, students of gramma school, their parents and teachers .
Printed recipe with photos from the project were placed in our showcase.
MA Małgorzata Matyja took the gastronomic technology lesson in II k class with science of commodities lesson – students made dish from France (chicken casserole with cabbagge ‘rukiew’)
We offered the first page of calendar for competition among our students. You can read its regulations here. We strongly invite to participation!
We started the cooperation with spice maker –Prymat company. This firm will sponsor our project.

In January 2010 a choice of a main dish and dessert for competition was made on the strength of standard of assessment.
In January student also began preparing calendar with recipes and photos relying on partners’ agreements. The project of presentation about Poland and winter photos of our school were prepared.
MA Małgorzata Rybak in II TEK class took the lesson about „Methods of assessment of the menu ". They used recipes from the project.
Our recipe in English with photos was placed on partners’ website (blog).
The English version of the project website with partners’ dishes has been updated.
There were also works on translating partners’ recipes ,materials about spices and information about partner’s countries into Polish.

Our dessert ‘fruitcake with delicates’ was made by the group of our cooks. Films and photos documentation were made by our photographers who also compiled photos on our website.
The information about partner countries and Christmas wishes in foreign languages were placed in the project’s showcase.
MA Małgorzata Rybak in II TEK class took the lesson about „Calculation and analysis of nutritional value". They used the recipes from the project.
Our recipe was translated into English.

In Polish nationwide ecological competition "Eko = Planeta", our students took part in an individual work competition in such subject like:" plants around us – beautiful and useful". A target of the competition is to spread the knowledge about environmental protection, danger connected with developing environment and also propagate Polish tradition and achievements related with ecology. MA Agnieszka Pilarczyk-Wawręta organized the competition at school, during which students made an album and multimedial display. Among discussed plants there were topics connected with herbs. Ten of best works were send to organizer of the competition to Warsaw. The other works we can see in school Information Center.
Group of cooks worked on characteristic spices and herbs which are used in Polish main dish and dessert. They calculate a main dish’s nutritional and calorific value and translate our recipes.
Another group took up of photos documentation; they chose photos that present our dish. That group worked out the inscription to photos and films.
The information about partnership countries have been worked out. Our website has been updated.
The recipes from our partnerships school from France and Romania have been translated into Polish language.
We send to our partnerships schools filled questionnaire that shows our school, our interests, favorite hobbies and other information.
Our students’ parents have been acquainted with the rules and plan of activities of Comenius Program on meeting in our school. During the meeting has been established the cooperation in range of organization connected with students’ journey and the stay of our guests from Cyprus and Romania.
MA Małgorzata Rybak carried on in second class lesson about "Methods of menu opinion" with the use of Polish recipes.

The group which is responsible for promotions worked out a material to display cabinet. It presents our project for students and parents. They worked out our web site project, computer graphics and the contest.
The group cared by MA. Barbara Zając picked out and compiled recipe per first meal – beef-roulade with "śląskie" noodles and modra kapusta ( type of red cabbage)On extras lessons students prepared this meal. Photos documentation was done by students cared by Ms. Estera Rzenno-Katerla.
The internet web site was created as a blog. On that web site all of membership schools can present their recipes and other information (http://usaromats.blogsome.com/)
School from France, Leap Saint Exupery presented a first recipe. It will be on October calendar page. The calendar will be our project result.

Information about Project, its targets and plans was display. at Parent’s Council and our scho students at the same time encourage to action. (placard into display cabinet, information on school’s web site, individual conversations in classes).
Teachers, that participate in work of project, together with form tutor and school’s master appointed out a group of students. These students will realize a goal. Participants were divided into groups They will worked under teachers care, mainly on extras lessons. Students draw up a contract and also established, range of work and time-limit for particular group.

The financial agreement between International Agency Program" Uczenie się przez całe życie" and City Council in Oświęcim was reached that agreement grants financial funds on realization Partnership Comenius Project. It’s24 .000 euro.
Educator council was informed about the attendance of our school in that project.
